Ever since I went to primary school my progress as a writer begins and lasts for years. As a important part of language and culture,writing is an important method to express our ideas and thoughts. I learned many writing skills during my school years in China including citing,summary and something that I can not translate into English.
I think I am making progress in my writing in English and I believe that I can understand the reporting words and use them properly. In addition, I think I do well in paraphrasing and I can find the main idea of the sentences. However, there are still a lot of skills in writing that I cannot understand very well. Sometimes I may make some small mistakes about punctuation or some spelling errors. As long as I read my essays after I finish them, I can always find some mistakes and I believe that my writing skills are improved in the process I correcting the mistakes.
My digital story goes on well since I have spent weeks for the preparation. I am still working on finding images matching my story. It is not so easy to find the proper pictures so I have to spend a lot of time searching the Internet. I also want to add a video into my story but I haven't found a proper one. My story concentrate on physical training but it contains cultural conflicts so that the story is more interesting to read. I am quite satisfied with my story but I will keep working to make it better.
I am curious how you thought of yourself as a writer in Chinese. It sounds like you are searching for really effective pictures.
