The video “how to put images into your digital story”
discusses the combination between written texts and images in a digital story. According
to the video, the girl point out how important images for expressing an idea or
feeling in the text. She also suggests using all kinds of pictures, depending
of what you’re trying to discuss. She thinks that downloading pictures from the
internet is permissible, because we are not using them for financial profit. She
also recommends that every picture be cited by putting a list of the URL links in
the end of your digital story.
The picture above presents an old man wearing a traditional
dress with medals of Honor gleaming on his chest. This
picture is related directly to the subject of my story, because this is my
grandfather’s real photo, which taken in the 50th
anniversary of the Moroccan independence. I will use this picture in the
beginning of my story, in order to show the readers the man who despite all the
suffering and wars that he experienced, was proud of his participation. From
his face you can see the sadness in his heart, because he had a painful life. The
thing that used to make him happy was to see the smile on the face of his
grandchildren and the pace in his home.
