  The boy and the girl, in this carton, discuss the correct ways of using images in our digital stories, and the importance of these images in digital stories. The girl states that the pictures which you choose can be either symbolic or explicit, but they should always relate to your text and promote the story. What’s more, the girl mentions that there are various types of pictures can be chose in digital stories, such as photographs, carton, and images from movies, anything you think relate to your discussion. Finally, the girl explains that using images in digital stories from the Internet is legal, because we use them for education not making money, but the citation is required.

                

  This is picture is downloaded from Internet. This picture is more symbolic. In this picture, many students are staying up all night studying in the library. When I saw the description of this picture, I was shocked because it was taken in Harvard University! I realize that there are no real geniuses in the world, you do more, and you will obtain more. So I decided to use this picture in my digital story in order to show my roommate and me studying hard before the exams. What’s more, I use this picture to mark the time which we encouraged and helped each other in studying, and to show my appreciation for my roommate.
